Love Marie Payawal Ongpauco-Escudero was born on February 14, 1985.  She is well known as Heart Evangelista on Philippine Television. 


Heart is the youngest daughter of Reynaldo Evangelista Ongpauco, member of a Chinese-Filipino clan that owns and manages Barrio Fiesta Group of restaurants, and Maria Cecilia del Gallego Payawal, her family owns a sugarcane plantation in Camarines Sur, Bicol region. 


Heart grew up and studied in the U.S. and then her family moved back to the Philippines in her early teens. 


Heart started her career at the age of 13 as a commercial model and actress. Her 19 years of hard work paved the way to numerous acting projects and awards.


She also supports children’s health and education and has been a spokesperson for the Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) for more than 10 years already.



Heart entered on a singing career and has released one solo album too.

She is also an accomplished painter and holds her own artshows in galleries. 

She also published her first book, “This is Me, Love Marie ” where she shares her life lessons and all her beauty secrets.

On February 15, 2015, Heart got married to Senator Francis "Chiz" Escudero in a private ceremony at the Balesin Island Club in the Philippines.

It's been a week since Filipino actor Mark Anthony Fernandez was released from Angeles City jail He was arrested on October 2016 for the illegal possession of marijuana. Mark Anthony Fernandez was caught with more than once kilogram of marijuana in his car. He was released on December 24,2017 after the judge trashed the complaint agaisnt him.
